Zachary Fulton, EAMP

Bellingham Integrative Acupuncture is led by Zachary Fulton, a licensed East Asian medicine practitioner in Washington State.

Zachary began treating patients in 2002 and has spent more than two decades studying systems-based approaches to health and recovery. His work focuses on complex orthopedic and internal medicine cases where symptoms persist despite conventional treatment or normal laboratory findings.

He holds multiple professional licenses in Washington State and provides acupuncture, herbal medicine, and integrative regenerative therapies within a structured clinical framework designed to restore coordination between body systems.

Zachary completed formal training in East Asian medicine at Wu Hsing Tao School of Acupuncture in Seattle, graduating in 2012.

Post-graduate training has included advanced study in pulse-based diagnostics, herbal treatment planning, and complex case management with Bob Doane, EAMP. His clinic has one of the highest patient volumes in the United States, making it one of the most experienced East Asian medicine practices in the field.

He has also pursued extensive continuing education including injection therapies with John Lyftofgt, MD, functional medicine, advanced anatomy and physiology, and integrative approaches that bridge classical medical systems with contemporary biological understanding.

Clinical Training

Clinical work integrates several therapeutic tools, including acupuncture, herbal medicine, and precision injection techniques that support nerve regulation and tissue recovery.

This approach reflects a broader interest in understanding how structural, neurological, digestive, and endocrine systems interact in chronic illness. Treatment is designed to improve coordination across these systems so the body can return to more stable and functional patterns of regulation.

Integrative Perspective

Zachary is also an author and educator whose work focuses on bridging Eastern medical knowledge with modern physiology. He teaches workshops and leads clinical demonstrations for practitioners with an emphasis on diagnostic precision and practical treatment strategies.

He offers educational workshops for the public that help demystify health and illness from a systems and regulatory perspective. These sessions help people better understand what may be happening in their bodies and what steps they can take to regain their health.

Some workshops include demonstrations of clinical techniques used in the practice, including regenerative injection approaches for chronic pain.
